In this public park, there is a statue of Afonso Henriques, an explanatory marker, as well as a nineteenth-century ceramic decorated bench depicting the conquest of Santarém by Afonso Henriques on May 8, 1147, along with its descriptive marker, and a marker celebrating 850 years since the Christian reconquest of Santarém.
